About Rhythmic Gymnastics Training
Not Just Pretty Ribbons
I’ve been hooked on gymnastics since I was tiny - started when I was 3, and honestly, it’s become my superpower. People see the shiny ribbons and graceful moves, but rhythmic gymnastics is a wild mix of strength, control, flexibility, and a bit of your own swag.
How I Coach
Hard work is non-negotiable, but I keep it light too. Fun workouts always win. Some days you’ll flop over and over - kabhi kabhi lagta hai ki bas, ho gaya (sometimes it feels like that's it, done), but when you finally nail it, it’s just epic. That’s the vibe here - pick yourself up, try again, and maybe throw in a backflip for good measure.
Training Flow
We build from scratch - doesn’t matter if you’re just starting out or aiming for medals. My beginner program lets you try a free demo, so you check if it clicks for you.
- Focus on core strength development for rhythmic athletes and advanced flexibility training for gymnasts (yes, oversplits are real and you’ll get there). Expect wall bars, bands, and coach-assisted stretches.
- Ballet-infused rhythmic routines are part of every session, making sure your posture and grace level up.
- If you’re eyeing competitions, I’ve got your back - I coach for national and international meets, and as an FIG coach/judge, I’ll show you what actually wins.
Way More Than Medals
Rhythmic gymnastics builds serious confidence, discipline, and a solid never-give-up attitude. Plus, you’ll end up with new friends who know exactly what it feels like to fall, get up, and fly.

My Story
Hey, we’re Stellar Gymnastics! Started by me, Shailja, a gymnast since age 3 (trust me, the core is still rock solid). From falling a hundred times to judging at the World Cup, gymnastics is my superpower. I love mixing life—my three dogs, my partner Abhi (Bengali meets Malayali, it’s a riot)—with the gym floor. Fail, laugh, try again. That’s us, always.
