About Flexibility & Body Conditioning
Why I Do This
People think they're getting old, but honestly, you're just getting stiff. I see it all the time - age is just the excuse. For me, a strong and flexible body is the base for everything, whether you want to move better or just feel more confident. Plus, if workouts aren't fun, nobody sticks with them. I try to keep it light, but also push for real progress.
What We Work On
- My program mixes stretching, core stability exercises, and mindful movement.
- Stretching for splits, backbends, or even that fancy penche (for the ambitious) - all at your pace, safely.
- I use wall bars, resistance straps, hoops, and sometimes even mini-trampolines. Nothing too scary, but enough to shake things up.
- Core work is a must. Expect planks, V-ups, and a few drills you’ll probably grumble about (but they work).
- I throw in some ballet-inspired strength moves, mostly for posture and to add a bit of grace to everything. It’s not as fancy as it sounds, but it does help you stand taller and move better.
Who It's For
- Kids and teens who want a head start in gymnastics, dance, or any sport.
- Adults who just want to stop feeling so stiff, fix their posture, and get stronger without getting bored.
Real Talk
Kabhi kabhi (sometimes) this stuff is tough. You’ll mess up, you’ll feel sore. But when you finally hit that goal, it’s totally worth it. I’m there with you the whole way, cheering and pushing, no fake promises.

My Story
Hey, we’re Stellar Gymnastics! Started by me, Shailja, a gymnast since age 3 (trust me, the core is still rock solid). From falling a hundred times to judging at the World Cup, gymnastics is my superpower. I love mixing life—my three dogs, my partner Abhi (Bengali meets Malayali, it’s a riot)—with the gym floor. Fail, laugh, try again. That’s us, always.
