About Acro Yoga & Partner Practice
Don't worry if you are a beginner; our acro yoga sessions are designed to be accessible for everyone. We use a base-and-flyer system where we guide you through every movement to ensure safety while you work on coordination. It is not just about the pose, it is about the laughter when you finally nail a formation together.
Why Partner Practice Works
Acro yoga isn't just about gymnastics, it is the fastest way to build deep connection and core stability. When you are the 'base' supporting a partner or the 'flyer' trusting someone to hold your weight, you engage muscles you did not know you had. It turns a workout into a conversation between bodies.
What to Expect in Our Sessions
- Safety First: We always start with thorough warm-ups to prepare your spine and shoulders. Safety is the priority here, and I am always there to spot and assist.
- Building Formations: From simple partner boat poses to multi-level pyramids, we break down complex shapes into manageable, step-by-step progressions.
- Community Vibes: You do not need to bring a partner with you. You will find plenty of friends here ready to team up. It is common to see a group of four or five collaborating on a pyramid, laughing and cheering each other on.
Whether you want to improve your balance, get a solid core workout, or just want to break the monotony of a solo practice, these sessions in Paschim Vihar are perfect for adding some spice to your fitness routine. We focus on the 'dosti' as much as the technique.
