Our Yelahanka Yoga & Dance Studio
I created this space in Yelahanka to be a judgment-free zone. With natural light, professional flooring, and a calm atmosphere, it is designed to help you focus on your breath, movement, and personal growth.
A view of our main practice hall, where natural light fills the room. The full-length mirrors help you refine your alignment and posture during our yoga sessions.
Looking into the studio from the entrance, you can see the clean, white marble floors and open layout. The space is decorated with marigold garlands, a traditional sign of welcome and auspicious beginnings.
The studio in the evening, with warm lighting creating a peaceful atmosphere for our late sessions. The dark, reflective flooring and sound-dampening walls help create an immersive experience.
Another angle of the studio, showing the textured acoustic panels on the walls that ensure a quiet environment. In the corner, you can see a small, personal space for reflection.
This is me, taking a moment to soak in the energy of the empty studio just before we opened. The expansive glass walls make the space feel boundless and full of possibility.
The entrance to our building, with a green staircase leading up to the studio. We are located within the Padukone-Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence, a hub for health and wellness.
Sunlight streams through the curtains, casting soft shadows across the floor. This is the perfect setting for a morning yoga class, helping you start your day with peace and clarity.
The studio at night, with the Nataraj idol standing as a silent guardian. The focused track lighting and dark floors create an intimate setting for meditation and deep stretching.
A wide shot of the studio, highlighting the spaciousness and professional lighting. This setup is ideal for both group classes and one-on-one personal training sessions.
The reflection in the mirror shows the depth of the room. I designed the studio to feel both expansive and contained, giving you space to move freely while feeling secure.
About Our Yelahanka Studio: A Space to Breathe
The foundation of your practice truly matters, which is why I installed professional sprung wood flooring and acoustic panels throughout the studio. These details provide the necessary shock absorption for your joints and keep the space quiet, so you can fully focus on your alignment and breath without outside distractions.
A Space Designed for You
When I built my studio within the Padukone-Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence, I wanted to create more than just a dance floor. I wanted a sanctuary where you could disconnect from the chaos of daily life. The design reflects my belief in balance, featuring expansive glass walls that invite in natural light for morning flows and warm, focused lighting that turns the room into a meditative space for evening sessions.
Why This Environment Matters
Yoga is about more than physical postures. It is about how you feel in the space where you practice.
- Safe Movement: The professional sprung wood flooring protects your knees and ankles during both high-energy dance and deep yoga stretches.
- Deep Focus: The acoustic-treated walls minimize ambient noise, allowing you to really tune into your Pranayama and meditation practice.
- Mindful Design: With the Nataraj idol at the center, the studio serves as a daily reminder of the discipline and devotion I bring to every class.
Whether you are a beginner taking your first steps into Hatha or a practitioner looking to refine your Vinyasa flow, this space is built to support your journey. It is a judgment-free zone where you can come as you are, find your rhythm, and leave feeling lighter.
