Group Yoga Classes & Community Workshops
Experience the shared energy of practicing together. In my group sessions and workshops, we build a sangha—a supportive space where you can move, breathe, and find your rhythm alongside others.
A look inside a group Vinyasa class at Varanasi Yogashala. You can see the synchronized movement as we flow from Warrior II to Reverse Warrior, creating a collective rhythm and energy.
This compilation includes a shot of a large yoga event I led for students. Teaching yoga to young people is incredibly rewarding and helps plant the seeds for a lifetime of wellness.
About Group Sessions & Workshops
When you join a group flow, you aren't just following a sequence; you are feeding off the collective rhythm of the room. We keep the Hatha Vinyasa sessions accessible for all levels, so even if you feel stiff or new, you won't feel left behind. The focus here is on synchronization—letting the shared breath carry you through the poses, rather than rushing to get everything perfect.
Why practice in a group? In the yogic tradition, we call it sangha—the community. There is a specific, tangible energy that arises when everyone in the room inhales and exhales together. It turns a solitary exercise into a shared journey.
My classes are rooted in Hatha Vinyasa, which means we move with the breath. We don't just hold static postures; we flow through sequences designed to build heat and flexibility. If you are worried about your level of fitness, please let that go. I have taught total beginners, children, and even groups at large community events. The goal isn't to look like the person on the next mat, but to listen to your own body.
Every session is structured to ensure you feel complete. We begin with a warm-up to prepare the joints, move through a flow to build stamina, and always close with Pranayama (breath control) and a collective Om chant. This isn't just about the physical workout; it’s about clearing the mental cobwebs we accumulate during our daily lives in Mumbai.
I conduct these sessions in professional studios across the city and host occasional workshops like the 108 Sun Salutations challenge in parks or pet-friendly cafes. Whether you are looking for a regular weekly class or a one-off weekend event, the doors are open to everyone. Come as you are, bring your mat, and leave the judgment at the door.
Rohit Flow Yoga
For me, yoga isn't about perfecting a pose in isolation—it’s about the energy we create together. I’ve guided everyone from school kids to police families, and the goal is always the same: finding a moment of calm in the city's chaos.
