In-Person Group Yoga Practice in Mumbai
Experience the energy of our studio classes, where we practice together, support each other, and use hands-on adjustments to deepen your asana practice.
The vibration of a yoga community is powerful. Here we are chanting together at an event, sending our prayers and positive energy out into the world.
Consistency is the key. Here is a look at our teacher training practice class in Malad West, moving together through backbends like Urdhva Dhanurasana (Wheel Pose).
A student at our Malad West advance class using the wall for support in Pincha Mayurasana (Forearm Stand). This class is designed for regular practitioners and teachers looking to upgrade their practice.
Another student exploring a forearm stand variation against the wall. We use props and the wall to safely build strength and confidence in inversions.
I never get bored of teaching because yoga has given me so much. Here I am demonstrating a sequence for both my in-person students and our online community on Zoom.
"I carry happiness within me, I don’t search for happiness outside." A glimpse of our students moving through deep forward folds like Prasarita Padottanasana in our studio class.
Ashtanga Vinyasa practice at our Malad West class. The synchronized movement and breath create a moving meditation. Here, students are in Virabhadrasana (Warrior Pose) and Sirsasana (Headstand).
"Showing up will change the show of your life." Our strong Malad group of teachers and practitioners showing dedication in their headstand practice. Small steps every day make a big difference.
You become what you think. Our students holding Ubhaya Padangusthasana, demonstrating core strength and focus during a group session.

About In-Person Group Practice
In our in-person classes, we do not chase perfect poses; we chase consistent practice. You get hands-on physical adjustments, regular use of studio-grade props like wall ropes and wooden blocks, and the shared focus of a small group. It is an environment where we prioritize your alignment and safety, ensuring you can work on your practice with direct guidance in every session.
Practicing in a dedicated space changes your energy. In my Andheri and Malad shalas, we move beyond the digital screen to focus on the nuances of Ashtanga Vinyasa. Whether you are working on your first headstand foundation or refining a deep backbend, being in the room allows me to provide safe, manual adjustments that you simply cannot get online.
These are not drop-in gyms; these are practice spaces. We stick to a schedule, we use props like belts and blocks to work around physical limitations, and we prioritize the 'show up and practice' mentality. You will see people working on everything from basic forward folds to advanced Kurmasana, all in the same room, encouraging each other.
I run these sessions with a limit of about 15 people because I need to be able to walk around and help each of you. If you are brand new, I usually suggest a few Hatha classes first to build the base, but for regular practitioners, we dive straight into Ashtanga sequencing, Sanskrit counting, and the discipline of a traditional Mysore-style atmosphere. We keep the phone off, the distractions minimal, and the focus entirely on your sadhana.
