At Pradipika, yoga is a group journey. From our annual 108 Surya Namaskar challenge on Rathasaptami to traditional Navaratri celebrations, we come together to find energy, connection, and peace.

About Community Festivals & Celebrations

When you join us for our Rathasaptami Suryathon, it is not just a physical challenge. We combine the discipline of 108 Surya Namaskars with the warmth of a traditional Surya Homa fire ritual and a shared sattvik meal. It is a full morning of practice and community that leaves you energized for the weeks ahead.

For us, yoga extends far beyond the mat. We believe that wellness is a group journey, which is why we dedicate time to celebrating festivals the old-school way. These gatherings are about bringing people together in Namma Bengaluru, stripping away the isolation of modern city life, and replacing it with the ancient rhythms of our traditions.

Why We Celebrate

Community is the heartbeat of our institute. Whether it is our Navaratri Golu displays, the vibrant evening bhajans, or the powerful Gayatri Yagnas, these events serve a clear purpose: to cultivate positivity and mental peace among our students. When we perform rituals like the Surya Homa, it is not for show; it is an act of grounding ourselves and setting an intention for the months ahead.

What to Expect

If you have never attended one of our festivals, here is how we do things at our Rajajinagar studio:

  • Active Participation: Our festivals are not just about watching. In our annual Suryathon, you join us for 108 rounds of Surya Namaskar. It is challenging, yes, but the shared energy makes it possible.
  • Sattvik Energy: We value purity. Whether it is a community meal after a trek or prasada distributed after a fire ritual, the food and environment are strictly sattvic.
  • Traditional Rituals: From the sacred fire of a Yagna to the detailed arrangement of Golu dolls, we follow traditional protocols, often in partnership with groups like the All World Gayatri Pariwar, to ensure the practices are authentic.

We keep our event capacity limited to ensure everyone gets personal attention and space to breathe. If you are looking to find a community that values both discipline and devotion, come join us for our next gathering.
