We were honored to host YouTube musical star Shankari Dasi for a Bhakti Immersion musical night, bringing her sensational voice to the Bengaluru community.

Our studio was filled with divine energy during the kirtan event with Bhakti Marga's Swamini Vishwamohini, an evening dedicated to awakening the heart through song.

About Spiritual Gatherings & Kirtans

You do not need any experience in Bhakti Yoga or singing to join our sessions. We keep these gatherings intimate and accessible, whether you are coming to participate in the call-and-response chanting with the harmonium, listen to the satsang, or simply sit and soak in the energy of a traditional yagna. These evenings are a time to step away from the noise of city life and connect with a group that values stillness and shared devotion.

What to Expect at Our Gatherings

Our spiritual events are grounded in the Vedic anukirtana tradition. When we host a kirtan, it is not a performance—it is a collective practice. We use traditional instruments like the harmonium, mridangam, and kartal to guide the rhythm. The format is typically call-and-response, where the lead artist chants a line and the group repeats it. This repetition helps settle the mind and lowers the barrier for newcomers who might feel shy about singing.

Beyond the Mat

We believe that physical yoga is only one part of the journey. Our spiritual gatherings include:

  • Kirtans: Uplifting, devotional singing sessions that can range from quiet reflection to high-energy joyful movement.
  • Satsangs: Informal discussions where we share knowledge on yoga philosophy and life, often with a community-focused perspective.
  • Traditional Rituals: We host yagnas and fire rituals in collaboration with groups like the All World Gayatri Pariwar, which provide a deeply rooted, grounding experience.

Practical Details

Most of our gatherings are hosted at our Rajajinagar studio. Because our space has a limited capacity and we prioritize a comfortable, intimate experience for everyone, we require prior registration for all events. We often host guest artists from the Bhakti Marga tradition, bringing a diversity of voices and cultural influences to our small corner of Bengaluru. If you are new to the area or just curious about our practice, check our upcoming schedule and register to join the circle.

We see yoga as a group journey, not just a solo practice on a mat. When we are not guiding asanas, we are hosting kirtans or conducting fire rituals because we believe that community connection is just as vital for health as physical flexibility. We are a family here in Rajajinagar, and we would love for you to step into our space and feel that energy for yourself.
