Pottery Workshops, Pop-Ups, and Community Events
Come get your hands dirty! Whether it’s a creative weekend workshop in Powai or catching me at a local pop-up market, let’s explore the magic of clay together.
There's something special about women coming together to create. This is a peek into one of my pottery workshops, a space for celebration, bonding, and supporting each other.
It was an absolute honor to be invited as a judge at Mood Indigo, IIT Bombay's iconic festival. Witnessing the passion and talent of the students was incredibly inspiring.
What an incredible day at the Christmas Carnival! It was filled with festive vibes, happy faces, and so much love for my handmade products. Thank you to everyone who visited!
It's pop-up season! You can find me and my handmade pottery at markets all over the city during Christmas time. Come by and say hello!
I've always been in awe of institutions like IIT. So, to be here as a judge for Mood Indigo felt like a dream come true and a sign that I'm on the right path with my craft.
Holding this 'Thank You' frame from Mood Indigo at IIT Bombay. With my college grades, I joked I'd never get in the gate, but following my passion brought me here.
In the zone, judging the fine arts competition at Mood Indigo. It was a privilege to review the incredible work of so many talented young artists.
About Workshops, Pop-Ups & Community
My workshops in Powai aren't about becoming a master potter overnight; they’re about finding your 'sukoon' (peace) amidst the chaos of city life. Expect a messy, judgment-free space where you can experiment, laugh, and walk away with a piece you’ve created yourself. Whether it’s a clay date for two or a group birthday party, we focus on the therapy of creating rather than the perfection of the result.
More Than Just a Class
When you step into my Powai studio, you aren't just learning a technique; you're entering my happy place. I keep my pottery classes beginner-friendly because I believe everyone deserves that tactile, meditative experience of working with clay.
What to expect at Studio Meeraya:
- Private Workshops: Perfect for clay dates, bachelorette parties, or team bonding. We keep it fun and messy.
- Therapeutic Sessions: Sometimes you just need to work through some rage or heartache. Clay is a brilliant listener, and I provide the space to let it all out.
- Pop-up Markets: I love taking my studio on the road. You’ll find me at festive markets across Mumbai, like the Christmas Carnival, where I get to meet fellow ceramic lovers in person.
Being invited to judge at events like IIT Bombay’s Mood Indigo was an absolute milestone for me. It was a reminder that even if my college grades didn't open doors to those gates, following my passion for clay eventually did. That’s the truth of it—Life hai bhidu! If you want to experience the messy, imperfectly perfect side of pottery, come join me for a session. No experience is needed, just a willingness to get a little mud on your hands.
