Ground combat is essential. Here we practice a variation of the 'Dhobi Pachad', a powerful throw from traditional Indian wrestling, showing how we blend different grappling arts like Judo and Kushti into our training.

A demonstration of a classic Judo throw. The key is to use all your power, focus, and effort in one fluid movement to unbalance and throw your opponent.

This is the Seoi Nage, or shoulder throw, a fundamental technique in Judo. It teaches leverage and timing to overcome a larger opponent.

A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) grappling session. Students practice positional control and submissions on the mat, learning that if you are afraid to fail, you will never succeed.

The Science of Ground Combat

In a real fight, the ability to control where the action happens is your biggest advantage. Our grappling program is designed to make you comfortable in tight spaces. We avoid movie-style choreography in favor of what actually works on the ground.

We structure our training around three pillars:

  • Judo & Takedowns: Using moves like the Seoi Nage (shoulder throw) to off-balance opponents who are larger or stronger than you.
  • BJJ & Submissions: Mastering positional control and escapes, learning how to finish a fight using BJJ rolling drills.
  • Kushti Roots: Integrating traditional Indian wrestling techniques like the Dhobi Pachad, which builds the explosive power and grip strength needed for effective grappling.
