About this collection
We don't just drill moves in a vacuum. Our 2-hour sessions are heavy on live rolling and positional sparring, meaning you will spend as much time defending against a resisting partner as you do learning the mechanics. This approach builds the specific instincts you need to escape bad positions, which you simply cannot get from solo drills or short, rushed classes.
Beyond the Basics
Grappling is a game of leverage, pressure, and timing. Whether you are working on a simple guard pass or a complex Rear Naked Choke, the goal remains the same: control. At 1026 MMA, we move past the theory and focus on the practical application. You will learn how to set up takedowns, transition between positions, and maintain control on the ground, all while dealing with an opponent who is actively trying to stop you.
Our Training Structure
We structure our BJJ and wrestling classes to maximize your time on the mat. By running 2-hour sessions, we ensure there is enough runway for deep technical breakdown, followed by intense, situational drilling. We treat every round of sparring like a fight. This keeps the intensity high and ensures that when you step into a competition or a high-pressure situation, you have the muscle memory to react without thinking.
Who This Is For
Our mats are open to everyone. We train adults, kids, and competitors alongside each other. If you are brand new, we start you on the fundamentals of posture and balance. If you are here to fight, we push you through high-intensity conditioning and advanced submission sequences. We do not have separate classes for women, but we do focus on a culture of respect and equality where everyone helps each other level up.
