About

I call our place a Kalakutumba (art family) because it really is. Since 2016, I’ve watched kids and adults walk in as strangers and leave as part of our story - everyone’s got a spot, whether you’re a total beginner or you’ve danced before. It’s not just about steps, but about finding your own space in the art.

How We Learn

Classical arts take work, but I want it to feel like you’re doing something for yourself, not just for exams or shows.

  • We start with the basics - Bharatanatyam adavus basics get a lot of attention, so your foundation is strong.
  • I help you tune your mind and body together, not just physically but building that confidence and grace on stage.
  • If you’re into Carnatic vocal for beginners, you’ll learn from Guru Smt. Kamakshi G, who’s all heart and skill.

More Than Just a Class

I push for students to perform, because that’s where the fun (and butterflies) really are.

  • We do our own festivals, big and small, and the classical dance annual recital Nrithya Milanam is a huge deal - live orchestra, full lights, proper stage.
  • Got dreams of university or Karnataka State music exam prep? We’ve got your back.

Who Joins?

All ages, all backgrounds. If your heart says yes, just come. We run regular batches, weekend and weekday, plus summer workshops for total newbies.

My Story

Hey, I’m Nayana and Natesha Nrithyalaya is my second home. Started this school in 2016 just wanting to teach dance from the heart, not just the feet. Now, we’re like a big family with 400+ students, tiny tots to teens, all growing together. Our annual day, Nrithya Milanam, and big productions like Krishna keep us buzzing. Taking our Natya Seva to places like Udupi and Chidambaram temples? That’s pure magic. Couldn’t do it without our crazy hardworking kids and the art-loving folks around us.

My Work

Bharatanatyam & Carnatic Vocal Classes - We teach Bharatanatyam for kids and adults, plus Carnatic vocal classes for anyone keen.

Thematic Dance Productions - We create big dance dramas like Krishna, mixing story, emotion, and tradition.

Performances & Natya Seva - Our groups perform at holy places and festivals, bringing classical dance to life.

Open To All Learners - If you love dance and can commit, you’re welcome. Beginners, pros, little ones, all find a place.
