Classical music is a discipline of the heart, much like our dance. At our NRI Layout studio, we keep sessions intimate so that every student gets the feedback necessary to find their true voice. We do not rush through the syllabus. We start with the building blocks of Sarali Varisai and Janta Varisai to ensure your Shruthi Shuddham is impeccable before moving on to Geethams and Kritis.

The structure of our classes is designed to be steady and sustainable. We use electronic Sruthi boxes to train your ears, and we place a heavy emphasis on Tala cycles using traditional hand gestures. This is not just theory. Whether you are a beginner looking to find your pitch or someone preparing for advanced certifications, the curriculum is aligned with the standards set by the Karnataka State Dr. Gangubai Hangal Music and Performing Arts University.
