Kathak isn’t just steps for me - it’s a way to tell stories. Every sound, every 'dha dhin dhin dha' carries emotion and tradition. I’ve been sharing this passion in Bangalore since 2008, hoping to pass on both the art and the feeling behind it.

What You'll Learn Here

We go beyond just moving to the beat. Here’s what I focus on:

• Footwork (Tatkar): I’ll help you get the basics right, with attention to the sound of your ghungroos (ankle bells) - they’re as much part of the dance as your moves.
• Hand Gestures (Hastak): You’ll pick up the gestures that let you speak without saying a word.
• Spins (Chakkars): We work on those iconic Kathak turns so you feel confident.
• Rhythm & Expression: I use live tabla accompaniment in Kathak classes so you learn how movement connects to music. Storytelling through Abhinaya gets special attention too.

Who Can Join

Doesn’t matter if you’re a total beginner or someone looking to polish advanced skills. Classes are for kids and adults, with batches for each. All you need is interest - no background required.

Our Community Vibe

We’re not just a class - we’re a group that celebrates Holi, Navratri, and Guru Purnima together. You’ll get chances to perform at our Annual Day and maybe join workshops with guest masters. I want everyone to feel like they belong.
