A glimpse into our grand annual recital, Nrithya Milanam 2024. This event is a culmination of a year's hard work, featuring over 100 performers, 17 items, and a live orchestra, creating a truly professional stage experience for our students.
Storytelling through Abhinaya is a core part of our training. Here, a senior student as Yashoda interacts with a young Krishna in our dance drama, "Krishna – Love, Compassion, and Protection," showcasing how we pass down traditions to the next generation.
The magic of dancing to a live orchestra is an unparalleled experience we provide our students. This is a rehearsal for our "Nrithya Milanam 22" festival, where dancers and musicians synchronize to create divine art.

The stage is where a dancer's sadhana (dedicated practice) truly blossoms. This is one of my students in a powerful pose during our Sadhana Classical Dance Festival, showcasing the grace and precision we cultivate.
I am immensely proud of our students' academic and artistic achievements. We provide dedicated coaching for the Karnataka State University examinations, and here we celebrate two of our students who passed with Honours with Distinction.
The sound of ghungroos (ankle bells) and the sight of feet adorned with alta (red dye) are fundamental to the Bharatanatyam tradition. This image symbolizes the coming together of our dancers in rhythm and unity.

About Featured
We believe training is not just about repeating steps in the studio; it is about finding rhythm with live musicians. Unlike many schools that rely solely on recorded tracks, we integrate live Mridangam and Violin accompaniment into our advanced rehearsals, preparing our students for the pressure and grace required to perform at professional venues like ADA Rangamandira.

At Natesha Nrithyalaya, we operate as a Kalakutumba (art family). Our teaching method prioritizes building a strong foundation in Bharatanatyam adavus before moving to complex abhinaya. We focus on body awareness and stage confidence, ensuring that every student, whether a tiny tot or an adult learner, finds their own space in the art form.
Beyond the Studio
Performance is where the lessons truly come to life. We regularly organize our own festivals like Sadhana and Nrithya Milanam, which give students real-world experience under professional stage lights. These events are not just recitals; they are comprehensive productions involving costumes, makeup, and live orchestras.
Academic and Technical Excellence
We don't just teach dance; we offer structured pathways for those serious about their craft. Our curriculum is aligned with the Karnataka State Dr. Gangubai Hangal Music and Performing Arts University. We provide dedicated coaching for junior and senior grade examinations, helping students secure distinctions through rigorous theory and practical sessions.
Carnatic Vocal Integration
Under the guidance of Guru Smt. Kamakshi G, we also offer Carnatic vocal training. This dual focus allows our students to understand the rhythm and melody that drive Bharatanatyam, creating a complete artistic experience. From pitch control to complex tala cycles, we nurture a deep musical understanding in every student at our NRI Layout studio.
