Festive Yoga Dance Sessions in Mumbai
Who says yoga needs to be silent? We blend traditional asanas with rhythmic movement and festive energy to turn your workout into a celebration.
Celebrating the festive spirit with our yoga family. For Navratri, we swapped our asanas for dandiya and flowed into the rhythm of Garba. Here's to joyful movement and togetherness.
During Navratri, we connect to a deeper energy. Here, our class is chanting the powerful Gayatri Mantra together, a practice to cleanse the aura and fill the soul with peace and inner strength.
Dancing our way into Navratri. We use dandiya sticks not just for garba, but as props in our yoga flow to make it a fun, energetic celebration. Let the good vibes begin.
The festive vibes are here. Getting ready to celebrate Navratri with a special yoga dance flow. It’s time to embrace the energy, joy, and rhythm of the festival.
A tribute to the remover of obstacles. This Ganpati, we flowed through asanas and danced with bhakti (devotion), with every movement becoming a prayer.
Start your day with the energy of Lord Ganesha. This Ganpati special routine includes Ganesh Mudra to boost heart energy and Devi Asana to promote grounding and balance.
When yoga meets devotion, you get a dance for Ganpati Bappa. We welcome Lord Ganesha with a sacred yoga dance, letting the vibrations of joy and surrender lead the way.
A Ganpati special flow where devotion meets movement. This unique yoga dance brings together grace, strength, and spiritual energy to honor the harbinger of new beginnings.
Dancing in devotion for Janmashtami. We unite the serenity of yoga with the joyous energy of dance to celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna, embracing his playfulness and wisdom.
Celebrating freedom the yogic way. For Independence Day, we grooved to the beats of freedom with a special yoga dance flow, blending grace, strength, and the spirit of India.
About Yoga Dance: Festive & Fun Routines
You don’t need to be a dancer to join these sessions. Whether we are using dandiya sticks for a Navratri flow or grooving to Bollywood beats, the focus is on letting go and having fun rather than getting the pose perfect. We keep the groups small at my Khar West studio, so you always get the space you need to move freely.
Yoga at our studio is about breaking the silence. We believe that movement should be a celebration, which is why our festive workshops are a community favorite. From flow routines for Ganpati to our energetic Independence Day sessions, we use yoga as a medium for 'mat pe masti' (fun on the mat).
We incorporate props like dandiya sticks or light weights to keep the rhythm engaging. You will find that these sessions help you break a sweat without the monotony of a standard gym workout. Because this is a women-only space, you can leave your inhibitions at the door. We do not care about perfect flexibility or form; we care about the energy you bring and the community you build. Many of my students start here just to try something new and end up finding a support system that lasts long after the music stops. If you are tired of the same old routine and want to reconnect with yourself through joy and music, come by for a session.
