Yoga isn't just about the mat. Here is a glimpse into how I find balance, play, and strength—from floating in a hammock to building trust with a partner.

This is the feeling of pure freedom that Aerial Yoga gives you. Using the hammock to fly, I feel weightless and strong, smiling through the entire practice. It’s a moment of sukoon, or peace, found in the air.

Acro Yoga is all about creating shapes and building trust. Here, my partner acts as a stable base while I practice an L-sit handstand, a pose that requires immense core strength and communication between us.

Hanging upside down in an aerial inversion is one of the best things you can do for your spine. The hammock supports my body completely, allowing for a deep, restorative stretch that releases all tension.

Teamwork makes the dream work. This video shows a three-person acro yoga pose where each person plays a crucial role, demonstrating the balance, strength, and connection we build in my group sessions.

When I need to clear my head, I turn to these heart opening poses. This sequence shows how the aerial hammock can assist in various asanas like Snake Pose, Ustrasana, and even inversions, creating space in the body and mind.

Yoga is for everyone, everywhere. Here I am leading a corporate yoga session for the employees at a Coca-Cola warehouse, guiding them through foundational poses to bring wellness and mindfulness into their workday.

About this collection

In my acro yoga sessions, we prioritize communication over raw strength. You do not need a partner or gymnast-level flexibility to start. My role is to provide hands-on spotting and guide you through the 'base' and 'flyer' dynamics, ensuring you feel safe while we build that trust. It is less about showing off and more about finding balance together.

Aerial and Acro Yoga: A Different Way to Practice

Whether you are looking to decompress your spine with aerial yoga or build core strength through partner-based acro flows, these sessions are designed for real people.

Aerial Yoga We use a professional-grade hammock to explore movement in a completely new way. It acts as a supportive partner, helping you safely explore inversions that might feel daunting on the floor. It is deeply restorative for the spine and helps build strength while you feel weightless. It is a playful practice that is great for all levels.

Acro Yoga We work on L-basing and therapeutic flying. If you think you are not flexible enough, that is exactly why you should try it. It is not about gymnastics. It is about understanding your own body and learning to support someone else. I keep my groups small, especially for aerial sessions, to ensure everyone gets proper hands-on guidance.

My Approach to Practice Yoga is a conversation, not a lecture. I believe in abhyaas—consistent practice—over perfection. Some days you flow, some days you wobble, and that is where the growth happens.

I travel to client locations across Bengaluru for private bookings, whether you need a dedicated partner session at a local park or a small group class in a studio. Every session starts with a conversation and ends with a little more balance than we started with. Remember, sab teamwork ka khel hai (it is all about teamwork).

I’m Richa. I don’t believe in perfect poses, just consistent practice. Whether I am hanging upside down in a hammock or chasing after my two Shih Tzus, I am always looking for that sense of sukoon that yoga brings.
