Yoga Practice and Philosophy: Finding Your Balance
Yoga is my sukoon—my peace. My abhyaas (practice) is where I grow, struggle, and find balance. Here is a glimpse into how I move, learn, and play on and off the mat.
A moment of quiet contemplation in Garudasana, or Eagle Pose. This monochrome photo captures the internal focus and zen-like state that a dedicated yoga practice can bring.
Practicing Virabhadrasana, or Warrior Pose, on the beach as the sun sets. For me, connecting with nature is a powerful way to reset and find gratitude for the beauty around us.
A throwback to my Yoga Teacher Training days. This photo reminds me of how far I've come and that the journey of learning is endless. Every practice is a new beginning.
Pushing my limits by practicing Mayurasana (Peacock Pose) with a 10kg weight plate. This shows how I integrate strength training with yoga to build power and stability in advanced arm balances.
Practicing different types of inversions with my yoga tribe outdoors. This video shows a handstand, forearm stand, and headstand side by side, celebrating our individual strengths and shared love for going upside down.
Having some fun with the tissue box mobility challenge. This tests balance, flexibility, and control in a playful way, proving that fitness challenges can be a great addition to a yoga practice.
My best yoga partner. This video shows me attempting a crane pose while my little dog decides to join in. It’s a joyful, real-life moment that captures the fun side of my home practice.
About this collection
I don't believe in perfect poses, and I certainly don't expect you to be a pro on day one. Whether we are using blocks to support your flexibility or props to help you safely invert, my approach is about your unique body. You’ll see me practicing with everything from weight plates to my own Shih Tzus—because real yoga is about being curious, not being a statue.
Why My Practice Matters
My abhyaas (practice) is an anchor. It is where I explore, struggle, and grow. When you join my sessions, you are not just learning a routine; you are learning how to listen to your body. We don't strive for perfection here; we strive for consistency.
What You Can Expect
- Personalized Flow: Whether you are looking for Power Yoga for core strength, aerial sessions for spinal decompression, or Acro Yoga for building partner trust, I tailor the movement to where you are today.
- Prop-Based Learning: We use wheels, straps, blocks, and even everyday items to make yoga accessible. If you cannot reach your toes, we find a way that works for you.
- Real-Life Balance: Yoga is not just about what happens on the mat. I integrate strength drills with mindfulness, often working in arm balances and weight training, because I believe in building a functional, resilient body.
Who This Is For
If you are nervous about starting, or if you are experienced and want to push your limits, there is a space for you here. My goal is to create a community where we breathe, learn, and figure it out together. I travel to locations across Bengaluru, bringing the practice to you. Let’s move, wobble, laugh, and grow one session at a time.
