Yoga is a beautiful way to bond. Whether you want to improve communication, build trust, or just share a laugh on the mat, these sessions are designed to bring you and your partner closer through movement and breath.

Practicing yoga with a partner is about creating something beautiful together. Here we are in a partner Tree Pose, forming a heart against the sunset to symbolize the strength and courage that comes from loving deeply.

This is a partner version of Boat Pose, or Navasana, which we call Double Boat. It's a challenging and fun way to build core strength while relying on your partner for balance and support.

Trikonasana, or Triangle Pose, becomes a beautiful shared stretch in partner yoga. By holding hands, we can deepen the side-body stretch and find more stability in the pose together.

This partner forward fold creates a wonderful stretch for the spine and shoulders. It's a simple yet effective pose that encourages mutual support and alignment as we breathe and move together.

This stacked plank pose is a playful way to build serious strength. It requires core engagement from both partners and a great deal of trust and communication to hold the shape.

This pose, a variation of acro-yoga's "Front Bird," is where strength meets grace. The word yoga means union, and partner practice is a perfect expression of that, uniting two people in movement and breath.

Reaching for the sky together in this standing acro-yoga pose. This lift requires a strong base and a light flyer, embodying the five elements of nature: earth, water, fire, air, and space.

This supported squat and lift is a playful exploration of balance and strength. Partner yoga is not just about the poses, but about sharing laughter and creating beautiful memories together.

About Partner Yoga: Connect & Play

In my partner sessions, we focus on safe, assisted stretching and basic acro-yoga concepts. I am always there to actively spot you, ensuring that every lift, balance, or deep stretch is comfortable and secure. You do not need to be a gymnast or an expert to try this; I guide you through how to use each other’s weight to deepen your practice without any risk.

Partner yoga is more than just a workout. It is about a shared journey where you learn to synchronize your breath and movement with someone else. Whether you are a couple looking to spend quality time, friends wanting to try something new, or siblings building trust, this practice creates a unique space for connection.

How We Practice

I structure our sessions around play and safety. We start with gentle, synchronized warm-ups to get into the same rhythm. From there, we move into poses like the Double Boat (Navasana) or supported Trikonasana (Triangle Pose). These are not just about flexibility; they are about relying on your partner for stability and finding balance together.

I also introduce beginner-friendly acro-yoga concepts. We explore 'Base' and 'Flyer' positions, where the base provides a solid foundation and the flyer practices letting go and trusting. Because I provide active supervision and guidance on alignment, you can feel confident trying poses that might seem intimidating at first.

Why Choose Partner Yoga

  • Communication: You learn to express needs and support verbally and physically.
  • Strength: We use body weight to deepen stretches and engage core muscles in ways a solo practice cannot.
  • Fun: Laughter is a big part of the session. It takes the pressure off 'performing' a pose perfectly and allows you to enjoy the process of moving.

These sessions are available across Bengaluru at your home or a comfortable outdoor space. If you are looking for a break from the daily grind and want to rediscover your connection, let’s get on the mat.
