Mudra Studio: A Rooftop Sanctuary for Mindful Yoga
Mudra isn't a typical gym-like studio. We are an open-air rooftop space in Malleshwaram built on the belief that yoga is a tool for navigating life's messy, real moments, not just a way to achieve perfect poses.

About this collection
When you step onto the rooftop at Mudra, you'll notice it isn't a sterile space filled with mirrors. We practice in a naturally ventilated environment in Malleshwaram where the wind, natural light, and the honest sounds of the city become part of your flow, helping you stay grounded in the real world rather than escaping from it.
Mudra was born from a desire to make yoga accessible to people who don't feel like they fit the traditional, polished image of a yogi. I started this practice when I couldn't touch my toes and was navigating my own anxiety, so the environment I've created is intentionally non-intimidating.
Our Approach
We blend Hatha and Vinyasa to balance movement with breath. This means we start slow to warm up the body, build into a flow to release tension, and always end with a proper cool-down. My goal isn't to help you master an aesthetic pose; it's to help you build a routine that actually supports your mental and physical health.
Why the Rooftop?
Practicing outdoors changes your perspective. In our Malleshwaram studio, you aren't just following a video or competing with the person on the next mat. You are in a small group where I can offer hands-on corrections and individual attention. Whether you are dealing with tight hips from desk work or just looking for a quiet space to breathe, my classes are designed to be a sanctuary. We keep batches small (8-12 people) because, for me, yoga is about building a community where we can all show up as we are—even on the tired, 'not-so-perfect' days.
Gowri
I'm Gowri, and I started Mudra to share the practice that helped me through some of my toughest years. I don't teach from a place of perfection; I teach from a place of shared experience, keeping things simple, honest, and focused on how you feel rather than how you look.
