About Paws & Pottery: Workshops for Pet Lovers
You don’t need to worry about your pet sitting perfectly still. We keep the process quick and stress-free by using a soft, pliable clay base that captures every detail in seconds. You’ll gently press their paw into the clay, and then I handle the rest—from the delicate trimming and slow drying to the firing and glazing, ensuring your keepsake is durable and ready to display in about 3 to 4 weeks.
This isn't just about making a ceramic paw print; it's about spending quality time with your pet in a space that actually welcomes them. Whether you have a calm cat or an energetic pup, our studio in Jeevan Bima Nagar is designed for a relaxed atmosphere where you don't have to stress about a little extra noise or movement.
We use non-toxic, skin-safe stoneware clay that is completely gentle on your pet’s paws. Once the impression is made, the real work happens behind the scenes. Your piece needs to dry completely before it undergoes its first bisque firing, followed by a professional glazing session and a second high-temperature firing. This process takes a few weeks, but it’s what turns a simple lump of clay into a permanent, waterproof, and food-safe keepsake.
If you’re planning to visit, feel free to bring your pet’s favorite treats or toys to keep them comfortable while you work.
