Baking with the seasons is what keeps me excited. Every festival, every fruit that comes and goes, gives me a new reason to turn on the oven. The smell of a festive cake baking? Pure bliss.
Festive Bakes for Every Occasion
- Christmas is my favourite - my rum-soaked plum cakes are a proper Christmas plum cake tradition. I soak over 15 kinds of dried fruits and nuts in dark rum for months, sometimes a year. No tutti fruity, only asli (real) spices. Egg, eggless, vegan, and gluten-free versions available.
- For those who don’t want alcohol, I make a non-alcoholic plum cake with fruits soaked in orange juice. Mulled Red Wine Cakes are also a hit.
- All Christmas cakes come in reusable tins, perfect for gifting. I do customized festive cake hampers for corporate orders too.
Year-Round Celebrations
- Diwali hampers feature my Gulab Jamun Cake. Valentine’s gets a 4-in-1 Love Cake Box. Sometimes I add diyas and flowers - Dekho kitna beautiful lag raha hai (Look how beautiful it's looking).

My Story
Hey, I’m Tushima. My kitchen’s my 'cake lab', and I bake from love, mostly for my kid’s school, teachers, and kiddos with birthdays. No maida, no chocolate, no icing, and eggless if you want. Mom duties sometimes interrupt, and perimenopause jet lag is real! Still, hearing 'super duper hit' makes it worth it. Won Mumbai’s Best Home Baker, but honestly, nothing beats seeing folks happy with my whole wheat vanilla sponge.
