Kyokushin Karate Outdoor Training Camps
We take our Kyokushin practice out of the dojo and into the wild. These intensive camps force you to adapt your technique to natural terrain, sharpening your balance, focus, and spirit.
Our 2025 summer camp in the Jayanti forest. Training outdoors builds a different kind of strength and focus, connecting us to the roots of martial arts.
Training by the riverbed during our forest camp. The uneven terrain challenges our balance and strengthens our stances, making our techniques more robust.

About Outdoor Training Camps
When we train in the Jayanti forest, the ground isn't the predictable 1-inch foam mat of our Koramangala dojo. The riverbeds and uneven natural terrain force you to stabilize your core and adjust your stance instinctively, exposing every weakness in your balance that you might not notice while training indoors.
The transition from the dojo to nature is essential for a complete karateka. In the city, training is often about routine. In the forest, training is about adaptability.
Why We Train Outdoors
We combine intensive physical conditioning with the mental challenge of navigating new environments. Whether we are drilling Kihon on rocky ground or holding deep stances by the river, the goal is to strip away the comforts of the gym. You learn to generate power when your footing is unstable, which makes your technique significantly more robust.
What to Expect
Our camps are physically demanding. You will train in groups, learn from senior instructors, and sleep in modest settings. The schedule is strict, following the same dojo etiquette and hierarchy you see in the city. We do not offer luxury retreats; we offer a rigorous environment where you test your stamina against the elements.
The Kyokushin Family
These camps are where the community aspect of our dojo truly forms. You are not just training with a partner; you are spending days with them, pushing through exhaustion together. It is an immersive experience where you leave with a deeper understanding of your own limits and a stronger bond with your fellow students.
