About Beyond the Dojo: Camps & Events
When we pack up for camps in Ooty or host special black belt sessions, the training intensity shifts. You aren't just practicing in a controlled hall. You are dealing with different terrains, longer sessions, and the endurance challenge of being away from home. It is about breaking through mental barriers that regular two-hour classes cannot touch.
Our camps are where the Kyokushin family gets stronger. We take students out of the Bengaluru city grind and into environments where focus is the only option. Whether it is an annual summer camp or a focused black belt retreat, the goal is simple: test what you have learned in the dojo under real-world conditions.
We conduct outstation training like our Ooty summer camps, which are vital for stamina building. We also host intensive black belt camps where technical precision is scrutinized without the distractions of daily life. Expect early mornings, rigorous kihon practice in open air, and hours of kumite to build pain tolerance and tactical awareness. These are not vacations. They are milestones in a student's journey from white belt to black belt. It is where the youngest white belts learn to tie their own belts and the senior fighters refine their strategy for state-level tournaments. We push you to find out who you really are when your body is tired and the terrain is tough. That is the Kyokushin way.
