About The Kund Thali Experience
The secret is in how the different bowls on the plate balance each other. You get the slow-cooked, creamy richness of our overnight Dal Makhani alongside the sharp, smoky crunch of our tandoori starters, all balanced by a fresh, butter-laden roti. We designed these thalis because we know how it feels when you just want a complete, honest meal without having to navigate a dozen pages of a menu.
Whether you are grabbing a quick lunch or settling in for a long dinner, our thalis are built to satisfy. The vegetarian platter features our signature Tawa Veg, a dish cooked on a heavy iron griddle with our secret 100-year-old masalas, paired with our rich Paneer Lababdar. If you are going for the non-veg route, you get the Murgh Akbari Kebab, which we pull straight out of the charcoal tandoor, alongside our classic meat curries.
We do not believe in shortcuts, so every part of the meal, from the mint chutney to the vinegar-soaked onions, is prepared fresh. The rotis are rolled and cooked only when you order, so they arrive at your table soft and warm. It is not fancy dining, but it is reliable, comforting food that reminds you of home cooking. We serve this in our Indiranagar restaurant, where the walls hold 25 years of our family history.
