Experience a practice that harmonizes body, mind, and spirit through traditional Hatha, Vinyasa flow, and focused pranayama.

In the stillness of nature, surrounded by the quiet strength of bamboo, we find our own center. I believe true yoga begins when we learn to sit with ourselves. This is Padmasana, the Lotus Pose, a foundational posture for meditation that helps quiet the mind and connect with the spirit.

This is Natarajasana, the Lord of the Dance Pose, which embodies the cosmic dance of Lord Shiva. It is a profound expression of dynamic balance and grace. Through this asana, we learn to find stillness even in movement, creating a harmony between strength and flexibility.

According to yogic science, our breath, or 'prana', is our vital life force. Here, I practice Nadi Shodhana, or alternate nostril breathing, a powerful pranayama technique to purify the energy channels, calm the nervous system, and bring clarity to the mind. Correct breathing is the key to a healthy body and spirit.

Utthita Hasta Padangusthasana, the Extended Hand-to-Big-Toe Pose, teaches us the importance of a firm foundation. By grounding through the standing leg, we can extend and expand, finding a balance between rooting down and reaching up. This asana develops concentration and strengthens the entire leg.

Baddha Konasana, or the Bound Angle Pose, is a deeply restorative asana shown here in my indoor practice space. It stimulates the abdominal organs, stretches the inner thighs and groins, and can soothe menstrual discomfort and sciatica. I guide my students through this pose to release tension held in the hips.

Ushtrasana, the Camel Pose, is a powerful backbend that opens the heart chakra, Anahata. This posture stretches the entire front of the body and improves spinal flexibility. I teach this asana to help release stored emotions and cultivate a sense of openness and courage.

A sound mind resides in a sound body. Finding a moment of peace through simple meditative postures in a natural setting is a practice I encourage for all my students. This helps us detach from the constant thoughts of the body and focus on the tranquility of the mind.
