Monthly Day Scholar Training Program
Training Schedule & Facilities
- Double Shift Access: Two mandatory sessions daily (Morning 5:30 AM & Evening 4:30 PM), 6 days a week.
- Dual Surface Training:
- Mud Court (Mitti): Traditional earth pit usage for lower body torque and joint strengthening.
- Professional Mat Hall: Indoor facility with standard mats for speed work and sliding techniques.
Technical Coaching
- NIS Certified Guidance: Instruction led by NIS/Army qualified coach focusing on stance and body balance.
- Skill Drills:
- Raiders: Hand touches, Toe touches, and Dubki techniques.
- Defenders: Ankle holds, Thigh holds, Dashes, and Chain blocking formations.
Conditioning & Sparring
- Strength Work: High-resistance mud sprinting, partner carries, and bodyweight bear crawls.
- Match Practice: Full-contact 7 vs 7 internal matches to simulate tournament pressure.
Full Residential Athlete Package
Accommodation & Facilities
- Dormitory Lodging: On-campus hostel with iron bunk beds. Non-AC setup with coolers and fans.
- Sanitation: Shared washroom and bathing facilities.
- Oversight: 24/7 supervision by coaching staff with strict wake-up and lights-out timings.
Nutritional Plan
- Full Board Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner provided daily.
- Menu: Standard high-carbohydrate Indian athlete diet (Roti, Dal, Rice, Seasonal Sabzi, Milk/Curd).
- Exclusions: Whey protein and specific supplements must be procured by the student.
Lifestyle & Training
- Program Access: Includes all training benefits of the Day Scholar program (Mud + Mat sessions).
- Immersion: Daily ground pooja rituals and restricted smartphone usage to ensure focus.
- Tournament Squad: Residential students form the core travel team for out-station tournaments.

Mera Kaam Hai Player Taiyar Karna
At JD Kabaddi Academy, mera focus seedha hai: I prepare you as a complete kabaddi player, not just someone who runs blindly into defenders. Pehle basic skills pakadna zaruri hai - technique, balance, and discipline, speed toh baad mein aa hi jayegi.
Training Approach
We start with kabaddi basics training:
- Correct stances, footwork, and how to maintain proper distance
- Smart raiding - executing touches, using your reach, and safe retreat
- Dominant defence - staying mentally tough, ankle holds, blocks, and teamwork, awaaz ke saath practice karte hain (we practice with full volume)
Building stamina and strength is a must. Expect:
- Sprinting and running on mitti (mud) and grass
- Group push-ups, bear crawls, agility ladders
- Power moves like hurdles and mat jumps
Mitti & Mat - Real Kabaddi
Hum mitti se player banate hain (we build players from the mud) for raw power, and mat drills for speed and competitive edge. Training on both makes you ready for any kind of match.
Who Can Join?
If you’re a young, passionate player who wants real kabaddi, not just timepass, this is for you. Discipline aur mehnat (hard work) is the only shortcut.
End Goal
The training is a launchpad for junior kabaddi player development, with many students moving on to big tournaments and pro leagues. Mehnat karo, baaki mujhpe chhod do (work hard, leave the rest to me).

My Story
Main Jitender Nagar, sab mujhe Guruji bulate hain. JD Kabaddi Academy ki mitti se hi hamare sher nikle hain - Ashu Singh, Manjeet, Ravi Bhati... sab yahin se. Army coach hoon, discipline sabse pehle. Practice se pehle hum ground pooja karte hain, mitti ko salaam - yehi hamara asli coach hai. Khushi hai ki academy ke ladke Senior Nationals aur Pro Kabaddi League tak pahunch rahe hain. Hardik badhai sabko.
My Work
Kabaddi coaching for all levels - Raiding skills, defence drills, physical conditioning - sab kuch sikhate hain, beginners se Pro Kabaddi League tak.
Training on mitti and mats - Mud ground kabaddi coaching bhi hai, mats pe bhi. Intense drills, running, match practice - full package.
Focus on basics and technique - Galati pe kaam karo, technique pehle sahi karo, speed baad mein. Yehi mera funda hai.
Loud training style - Practice mein awaaz zaroori hai - 'laudly sound, ekdum awaaz ke saath tez!' raider ko mentally disturb karne ke liye.
Results and achievements - Hamare khiladi Sub-Junior Nationals se leke Pro Kabaddi League tak select ho rahe hain. Academy ki diwarein achievement posters se bhari hain.
