My Approach to Yoga: Healing Through Mindful Practice
Yoga is not just a workout; it is a conversation with your body. Here is how I use mindful movement, prop-based support, and therapy to help you find balance.
I start my day with these three simple yoga asanas to build strength, enhance flexibility, and calm my mind. This morning routine sets a positive and energetic tone for the rest of the day.
A quick recap of my 2022 journey. It was a year filled with practice, teaching, and growth. I am grateful for a healthy life and the opportunity to share it with all of you.
Happiness depends on ourselves. A candid moment of peace and contentment.
A smile is a simple way to find joy. My philosophy is to find happiness in the small moments of life.
Sharing a smile. My goal as a teacher is to be an approachable and friendly guide on your wellness journey.
About My Approach to Yoga
I do not just teach asanas; I look for the root cause of your discomfort. Whether you are dealing with chronic back pain or digestive issues, we start with a one-on-one chat to understand your specific body history and needs before we ever step onto the mat.
My philosophy is simple: yoga should be a tool for healing, not just a way to build flexibility. In my sessions at Kailash Health Village, I move beyond general fitness to focus on therapeutic relief for common ailments like migraines, acidity, constipation, and sciatica.
The Science of Props
Many people think using props is a crutch, but I see them as the key to precision. By using Iyengar-style chairs, ropes, belts, and blocks, I help you achieve correct alignment without putting unnecessary strain on injured or weak joints. This is especially important for those recovering from an injury or dealing with chronic spinal issues.
Nabhichakra & Holistic Healing
Digestion often begins at the navel. If you have been struggling with bloating or chronic gas, we may look at your Nabhichakra (navel) alignment. Through manual adjustments and targeted asanas, we work to restore this balance. My sessions also incorporate Pranayama (breathwork) and meditation to ensure that your mental peace is as much a priority as your physical recovery.
How We Start
Every student is different. My goal is to listen to your story—what stresses you out, where you feel pain, and what your daily life looks like. From there, we design a path that fits you. Whether you join my group sessions of 10-12 students or book a 1-on-1 clinical therapy session, the approach remains the same: we move with intention, we breathe with purpose, and we heal together.
