My Yoga Philosophy & Approach
Yoga for me isn't about acrobatics; it is a lifeline. I focus on proper alignment and mindfulness to help you heal, whether you are dealing with chronic pain or simply seeking balance.
I firmly believe that to truly benefit from yoga, you need a good teacher. My focus is on teaching you the correct alignment and technique so that you are not just doing poses, but are truly transforming your body from the inside out.
Yoga is the most effective path to releasing anxiety, stress, and depression. I explain why dedicating just one hour a day to a healing practice like yoga is essential for anyone looking to find mental and emotional balance.
While yoga doesn't make you taller after you've stopped growing, it dramatically improves your posture. By strengthening your core and stretching your spine, you learn to stand taller and move with more confidence.
Yoga is a lifestyle that extends beyond the mat. My evening routine is about finding *kuch pal sukoon ke* (a few moments of peace), which is essential for mental wellness and recharging after a day of work.
About My Philosophy & Approach
If you have been practicing on your own and feel like you are hitting a plateau, it is likely about your alignment. I often see students struggling with back pain because they are forcing poses without understanding muscle activation. In my sessions, we stop the guesswork. I personally guide you through the correct form so you feel the engagement in the right muscles, not just the strain in your joints.
Why Technique Comes First
I always say, yoga bhi seekh kar hi karna chahiye (learn yoga properly). Many people start their journey by watching videos, but without tactile cues, you might be practicing incorrect alignment that eventually leads to injury rather than healing. My approach breaks down every asana, teaching you how to target specific muscles like your core or hamstrings, ensuring you are strengthening the right areas.
My Therapeutic Approach
Whether you are struggling with cervical spondylitis, stiff hips, or anxiety, my sessions are not generic workouts. We incorporate:
- Targeted Alignment: Using foam blocks and straps to make poses accessible for those with injuries.
- Breathwork (Pranayama): Essential for calming the nervous system and managing anxiety, which I believe is as important as physical flexibility.
- Mindfulness: Yoga is about jodna—connecting your mind and body.
What to Expect at the Studio
My studio in Sector 104, Noida, is designed for focus, not for showing off. With small batches capped at 12 students, I can provide the adjustments you need. We focus on the system: asana, pranayama, and meditation. You will see changes within a month if you stay consistent and follow the alignment cues. This is about building a sustainable, healthy life.
