Yoga is a precise science of healing, not merely exercise. I use personalized asanas and restorative props to help you manage health conditions, relieve pain, and restore the harmony of your body and mind.

Here I use a chair to assist in Parivrtta Svarga Dvijasana, the Revolved Bird of Paradise Pose. Props are invaluable tools in therapeutic yoga, allowing us to safely access the benefits of advanced poses involving twists, stretches, and balance.

Using yoga blocks in Paschimottanasana, or the Seated Forward Bend, allows for a deeper and more supported stretch. Props are not a sign of weakness but a tool for intelligent practice. I incorporate them into my personal training to make asanas accessible to all body types and to help you safely progress in your flexibility journey.

This video demonstrates the sequence of Baddha Konasana, the Bound Angle Pose. It is a highly therapeutic asana that stimulates abdominal organs, improves circulation, and stretches the inner thighs and groins. I guide students through each movement, ensuring proper alignment to safely achieve its many benefits, from relieving fatigue to soothing menstrual discomfort.

In the tranquility of nature, I practice Nadi Shuddhi Pranayama, or alternate nostril breathing. The breath, or *prana*, is our vital life force. My sessions focus on teaching correct breathing techniques to calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and purify the energy channels of the body, which is fundamental for overall health.

Upavistha Konasana, or the Wide-Angle Seated Forward Bend, provides a deep stretch for the inner thighs and hamstrings. Regular practice of such asanas can have a stabilizing effect on the immune system and help manage stress.

In this standing balancing pose before the sacred AUM symbol, I demonstrate how yoga practice boosts our immunity. By lowering stress hormones and improving organ function, yoga fortifies the body's natural defenses.

Simhasana, the Lion Pose, is not just a physical posture. It is known to relieve tension in the face and chest, improve circulation to the head, and can be therapeutic for issues related to the throat and voice.

About Yoga for Therapeutic Wellness

When we begin, we do not start with a generic routine. We first analyze your physical history, current pain points, and mobility goals. Whether you are dealing with chronic back pain, posture issues, or post-injury recovery, I design a sequence that integrates specific props like chairs, blocks, and straps. This ensures you can access the benefits of traditional asanas safely, without straining your body while you work toward healing.
