Clinical Yoga: A Personalized Practice That Fits Your Body
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all. Your yoga practice should be as unique as your body, adapting daily to your pain levels, energy, and specific health goals.
Before we begin, I conduct a complete consultation to understand your body, your lifestyle, and your health goals. Based on this, I customize a plan where the first objective is to make you painless, followed by building strength and improving internal health.
What if you have a digestion issue but also bad knees? A generic yoga video might suggest a pose that harms your knees. I design your practice to address all your conditions safely, creating knee friendly asanas that still work on your digestion. There is always a plan.
True health starts from within. While we often focus on external pains in our shoulders or back, I dedicate a significant part of our sessions to activating internal organs like the heart, lungs, and liver. Yoga is one of the only forms of exercise that can improve the core function of these systems.
In our busy lives, we often forget to care for our bodies. I have been teaching for 20 years, and I know that yoga is more than just exercise; it's a lifestyle that combines physical, mental, and spiritual practice to heal your body and reduce stress.
Your body changes daily, so why should your yoga practice be the same every day? I offer the luxury of daily customization, starting with a free consultation to set personalized wellness goals for you. This is the Yogritu difference.
I use clinical yoga to help fix a wide range of issues from the root. This includes chronic pain, lifestyle disorders like PCOD and thyroid, anxiety, digestive problems, and prenatal or postnatal care.
We often spend money on things that harm our health but hesitate to invest in our own well being. I encourage you to choose clinical yoga as a form of prevention and healing. It is an investment in your health, not in medicines.
A common myth is that anyone can do Mandukasana for digestion. But what if you have knee pain? The fact is, we can adapt the pose to work on your digestion without hurting your knees. Every body is different, and your yoga should be too.
Here is a simple tip for better health. Check your breathing. When you inhale, your stomach should move out, and when you exhale, it should squeeze in. Most people breathe incorrectly, but owning your breath is the first step to owning your peace.
I have a plan for everybody. It does not matter what your age, gender, or health issue is. We will not be intimidated by difficult asanas. We will make yoga simple and we will do it, even if it's on a chair or bed. Yoga se hoga.
About My Philosophy: Yoga That Fits You
When you join my sessions, I don't just assign a generic routine. We start with a full consultation to understand your internal health, like your digestion or organ function, alongside any external pain like knee or back stiffness. Based on this, I create a daily plan that evolves with you, using props like chairs or cushions so you are always comfortable and safe.
Many people treat yoga like a static exercise routine, but your body changes every single day. My philosophy of Clinical Yoga is rooted in the belief that practice should fit your body, not the other way around. Whether you are dealing with chronic knee pain, thyroid issues, or general stiffness, forcing yourself into generic poses can actually cause injury.
Instead, we focus on root-cause healing. The first 20 minutes of our sessions are often dedicated to activating internal organs like the heart, lungs, and liver, which are often ignored in standard fitness classes. We do not just aim for weight loss; we aim for functional health. If you cannot sit on the floor, we use chairs, beds, or standing variations. If you have back pain, we modify the movement to protect your spine while still building strength.
My methodology involves high-level mentorship. In my private sessions, your sequence alters daily based on your current energy and pain levels. We track progress through your ability to move without discomfort. This is an investment in your longevity. By combining physiotherapy, Hatha yoga, and mindful breathwork, we create a sustainable path to wellness that you can maintain from home. Yoga se hoga—it just takes the right, personalized approach.
