About Gentle Yoga for Seniors
My sessions are designed for comfort. I adapt every movement to where you are—whether that is sitting on a chair, using the edge of your bed, or standing with support. We focus on gentle mobility and circulation, not sweating it out, so you can feel more capable in your daily routine.
Aging shouldn't mean sitting still. My approach to senior yoga is about maintaining independence and easing daily aches. Many clients worry about flexibility or joint pain, so we start exactly where your body feels comfortable. I specialize in what I call Bed Yoga and chair-assisted exercises, which are perfect for those with limited mobility or balance concerns.
We do not do complex acrobatics here. Instead, we work on:
- Joint mobility: Gentle rotations to keep knuckles, wrists, and knees moving fluidly.
- Core strength: Simple, seated movements that protect your spine and support your posture.
- Breathwork: Pranayama techniques to help you sleep better and reduce daily stress.
- Balance: Guided stability exercises to build confidence in your movement.
Everything is done at your own pace, right in your living room or bedroom. I travel across Delhi NCR for these sessions, ensuring you get the care you need without the stress or effort of commuting to a gym. Whether you want to improve your range of motion or just find a relaxing way to start your day, I am here to help.
