Acro Yoga and Partner Training in Dwarka
Fitness is better with a partner. Whether you are looking to build trust, improve your balance, or just make your workouts more fun, my acro yoga and partner training sessions bring movement and laughter into your daily routine.
This three-person acro yoga pose is a perfect example of teamwork. It requires a strong base, a stable middle person, and a balanced flyer, all working together to create a beautiful shape.
Here is a look at the process of getting into an advanced three-person acro yoga pose. It takes communication, coordination, and a lot of practice, but the result is always worth it.
This video demonstrates a dynamic acro yoga flow between two partners. It’s a beautiful sequence that combines strength, flexibility, and fluid transitions from one pose to the next.
A creative three-person acro yoga pose that builds a human bridge. This exercise strengthens the core and shoulders for everyone involved and is a fun challenge to achieve together.
Another fun group acro pose in the park. This one involves one person acting as a stable base while supporting two flyers in a backbend, showcasing strength and balance.
Using park benches to create a unique partner yoga pose. I am holding a steady plank while my partner performs a chakrasana (wheel pose) on my back, a true test of core strength.
Partner workouts can help you push your limits. In this clip, I am assisting with a handstand push-up, providing support and guidance to help build strength safely and effectively.
This is a challenging partner exercise using the pull-up bars. While I work on my grip strength by hanging, my partner performs crunches, using my legs for support.
About Acro Yoga & Partner Training
Acro yoga is less about performing for a camera and more about the communication between two people. In my partner sessions, we focus on safe spotting and building a solid base before attempting any balances. Whether you are working with a spouse or a training buddy, I am right there to ensure every lift, hold, and stretch is done with proper form.
Partner training shifts your perspective on a workout. It turns a standard exercise session into a shared activity where you depend on each other for balance and support. In my sessions, we blend elements of calisthenics—using park benches and bars—with the fluid movements of acro yoga.
What to expect in a session:
- Focus on Fundamentals: We do not jump to advanced acrobatics immediately. We start with conditioning, such as plank holds, balancing drills, and core strengthening exercises that prepare your body for complex poses.
- Safe Environment: Whether we are training at The Marun Dance Studio or in a public park in Dwarka, my role is to act as your spotter. I provide hands-on adjustments to keep your posture safe, especially when we are experimenting with partner lifts.
- Accessible to All: You do not need to be a gymnast. If you can hold a plank, we can scale the exercises to your level. It is perfect for friends, couples, or parents looking to bring some energy into their fitness routine.
We usually meet in open-air settings, taking advantage of local infrastructure like railings and bars to create our gym. It is less about lifting heavy weights and more about learning how to handle your own body weight while working in sync with someone else. If you are curious about trying this out, send me a message and we can chat about your goals.
