Every meal here is prepared fresh in my Matunga kitchen, keeping age-old traditions alive. From classic Puran Poli to wholesome Varan Bhat, taste the comfort of authentic Maharashtrian home cooking.

This is what 'Ann he Purnabrahma' means to me: a complete, traditional Maharashtrian meal served with respect on a banana leaf. It features everything from Varan Bhat and Puran Poli to Kurdaya and Sol Kadhi, a true feast for the senses.

My special meal for Akshaya Tritiya, offered first to the gods at home. The thali includes Aamras, Puri, Varan Bhaat, and other traditional items, celebrating the auspicious day with a complete feast.

My Holi special menu is a traditional Maharashtrian feast. It includes classics like Puran Poli, Katachi Aamti, and Alu Wadi, making it the perfect lunch to celebrate the festival of colors.

Masale Bhat is the heart of many Maharashtrian celebrations. Here it is served as part of a Saturday happy meal with Kadi, pumpkin gravy, and a sweet Dry Fruit Sheera.

This video shows how I make Bajrichi Bhakri, a traditional millet flatbread, roasted directly on the flame to make it soft and fluffy. It is a staple in Maharashtrian homes, especially during winter.

The smoky flavor of fire roasted eggplant is what makes Vangyache Bharit so special. Here I am preparing this winter delicacy, a mashed brinjal dish, the traditional way for a Saturday meal.

An ala carte order of Stuffed Brinjal and Bajra Bhakri for a corporate dinner. The small brinjals are filled with a spicy peanut and coconut masala, a classic Maharashtrian preparation.

Jowar Thalipeeth is a healthy and traditional multigrain pancake. This video shows me preparing it the authentic way, patting the dough by hand and cooking it on a tawa until crisp.

Another look at my Jowar Thalipeeth preparation, served as part of a traditional Saturday meal with Masala Khichadi and Kadi. It is a wholesome and rustic dish.

Making Tilpoli for Makar Sankranti is a cherished tradition. This flatbread is stuffed with a sweet mixture of sesame seeds and jaggery, symbolizing warmth and sweetness for the new year.

About Traditional Maharashtrian Meals

I don't mass-produce my meals. To ensure every bite feels like it came from your own kitchen, I limit myself to just 35 lunch orders a day. When you order, you aren't just getting a meal; you are getting a plate that is cooked fresh, without any commercial shortcuts or preservatives, exactly as I would serve my own family.

My cooking philosophy is rooted in the belief that 'Ann he Purnabrahma'—food is divine. When I curate these traditional Maharashtrian thalis, I focus on the balance of taste and nutrition that define our culture. Whether it’s the smoky comfort of Vangyache Bharit in winter or the festive joy of Puran Poli and Katachi Aamti, every component is made from scratch.

I source fresh, seasonal vegetables and stick to recipes passed down from my grandmother and mother. You won't find any artificial colours, thickeners, or chemical preservatives here. Even staples like Jowar Thalipeeth or Bajrichi Bhakri are patted and cooked by hand on a tawa, never on a commercial machine.

If you are looking for wholesome corporate lunches in Mumbai or a special festive meal, I provide a complete, balanced menu that travels well. Please note that I do not list on food delivery apps because the nature of 'ghar ka khaana' requires a personal connection. Everything is prepared specifically for your order, so I request that you book a day in advance to ensure I can maintain the quality you expect.
