Festive & Seasonal Home-Cooked Meals in Mumbai
When the season changes or a festival comes around, we bring out the special recipes. These are limited-batch meals, crafted to taste just like home.
Our seasonal Undhiyu, served in a bowl, ready to be enjoyed. This picture shows the final dish, a wholesome mix of winter vegetables and spices, slow-cooked to perfection. It's a hearty, comforting meal that we look forward to making every winter.
Here’s a look at exactly what goes into our winter classic, Undhiyu. Each ingredient has a role, from the fresh Surti papdi and green peas to the earthy purple yam (kand) and sweet potatoes. We also add homemade muthiya, raw banana, and a blend of spices to create that authentic flavour.
We believe Undhiyu is more than just a dish; it's a ritual that brings back memories of winter mornings and family kitchens. It’s about slow cooking and shared moments. We handle all the prep so you can enjoy the nostalgia without the pressure.
Announcing our special Undhiyu, a seasonal Gujarati delicacy made by my mom. This short video shows the final dish, a vibrant and flavourful mix, with details on how to pre-order. We only make this for a limited time during winter.
A close-up look at our freshly steamed Modaks for Ganesh Chaturthi. You can see the delicate pleats and the saffron garnish on each one, resting on a banana leaf. This is a short, satisfying loop showing the festive sweets ready for delivery.
This video shows the traditional art of making Modak by hand. Watch as we fill the rice flour dough with a sweet coconut-jaggery mixture and carefully shape it into its classic form before steaming. It's a process filled with care and tradition.
When summer arrives, so does our special mango menu. We use pure Alphonso mangoes to make our seasonal treats. You can choose from 100% pure Aamras, a rich and creamy Mango Custard, or a tangy Aam Panna to cool you down. These are available as add-ons to your tiffin order.
We're celebrating the Maharashtrian new year with a special Gudi Padwa menu. You can choose between a veg tiffin with Batata Bhaji and Katachi Amti, or a non-veg option with Anda Masala. Both come with puris, jeera rice, and a sprout salad, offering a complete festive meal. You can even add Shrikhand to make it extra special.
About Limited Edition: Seasonal & Festive Menus
Because we stick to slow, traditional cooking methods, we don't do mass production. Each seasonal special is crafted in a small batch to ensure that authentic 'maa ke haath ka khana' quality. If you see a festive menu drop on our socials, it is best to grab your spot quickly because once the batch is done, we close orders to keep the quality consistent.
Festivals shouldn't mean spending your entire day in the kitchen. We believe in keeping traditions alive, whether it is the winter chill calling for our slow-cooked, 6-hour Undhiyu or Ganesh Chaturthi demanding hand-pleated Modaks.
We handle the prep work so you can just enjoy the meal. We use age-old techniques—no shortcuts or industrial preservatives. Our Undhiyu is prepared with fresh Surti papdi and purple yam, cooked on a slow flame until the flavors meld perfectly. For our festive thalis, like the Gudi Padwa special, we include everything from Katachi Amti to Batata Bhaji, ensuring your table feels complete without the stress of cooking.
Everything is made in our Andheri kitchen the morning of delivery. We are not a factory, and we don't have infinite capacity. We focus on small-batch cooking to maintain that 'ghar ka khana' warmth. If you are craving that specific comfort food that feels like a warm hug, this is where you find it. Reach out to check our current seasonal availability.
