The Soul of My Home Kitchen
Where traditional recipes meet the warmth of home. Every dish is a tribute to my grandmother’s kitchen and my deep belief that food is divine.
Mukhwas, a traditional post meal mouth freshener and digestive, is something I learned to make from my grandmother. This is my special blend of seeds, herbs, and spices, presented in a traditional silver bowl.
A close up of the beautiful ingredients that go into my homemade Mukhwas. You can see dried rose petals, fennel seeds, coriander seeds, and cinnamon, all contributing to its flavor and health benefits.
This is the life of a home chef, where your home becomes the kitchen and the kitchen becomes your home. These ingredients are the heart of my cooking, always ready to be transformed into something delicious.
A collage of the colorful and fresh food I love to cook. For me, Holi is a celebration of these vibrant colors of nature that I get to share with you through my food.
About From My Home to Yours
I never cook in bulk because love needs time and attention. My kitchen in Matunga operates on a simple rule: if it is not something I would serve to my own family, it does not leave my door. This means you will find no artificial preservatives or industrial shortcuts here, just pure, seasonal ingredients cooked in the old-fashioned way.
My kitchen is driven by the philosophy 'Ann he Purnabrahma'—the belief that food is the ultimate reality. This is why I limit myself to 35 orders a day. By keeping my kitchen small, I ensure every single thali, snack, and festive sweet is prepared fresh, right in my home.
Everything I serve carries a story. Whether it is the Mukhwas recipe I learned from my grandmother, the Nimona curry taught to me by a neighbor, or the seasonal puran poli, these are not just recipes. They are traditions I am passing forward. When you order from me, you are not getting restaurant food. You are getting the same quality, pure ghee, and fresh produce that goes into my own daily meals.
I believe in transparency in the kitchen. I do not use food colors, chemical preservatives, or thickeners. If you are looking for an authentic Maharashtrian meal for a festival, a healthy corporate lunch, or simple comfort food, you can trust that it has been prepared with care. My menu changes with the seasons, from fresh Alphonso mangoes in summer to Gajar Halwa in winter, ensuring you always get ingredients at their peak.
