Handmade Sweets and Traditional Indian Desserts
No meal is truly complete without a touch of sweetness. I prepare all my desserts from scratch in my Matunga kitchen using pure ghee and traditional recipes passed down through generations.
Adding the final touches to a batch of Mahaprasad Sheera for a Navratri order. Garnished with nuts and a fresh tulsi leaf, this sweet dish is made with pure devotion.
My version of the royal dessert, Shahi Tukda. Bread slices are fried in ghee and soaked in a rich, creamy rabri, then garnished with nuts. A truly indulgent treat for a corporate order.
A showcase of some of my homemade sweets and sides. This video features my popular Dudhi Halwa, a crunchy Anar Corn Salad, and a flavourful Kaju Tendli sabji.
A comforting bowl of Dry Fruit Semiyan Sheera. This vermicelli pudding is cooked in ghee and milk and loaded with pistachios and almonds, a sweet treat served in my Friday happy meal.
About Handmade Sweets & Desserts
When you order sweets from my kitchen, you get exactly what I make for my own family. I never use artificial food colors or store-bought preservatives, so the natural, vibrant colors you see in dishes like my Dudhi Halwa or Mahaprasad Sheera come strictly from fresh produce and slow cooking in pure ghee.
Tradition in Every Bite
I believe that dessert is not just a dish, but an experience of nostalgia. My recipes for Shahi Tukda, Sheera, and Halwa are not taken from modern cookbooks; they are legacies from my grandmother and mother.
My Quality Promise
Because I only take 35 orders a day, I can focus on the small details that commercial services often ignore.
- Pure Ghee: I use high-quality ghee, which adds the distinct aroma and richness you cannot get from oil or butter alternatives.
- No Preservatives: My sweets are made fresh on the day of delivery. This is why I request orders at least 24 hours in advance—I do not believe in stocking up on sweets.
- No Artificial Colors: Whether it is the green of my Dudhi Halwa or the rich hue of my festive delicacies, the colors are 100% natural and come from the ingredients themselves.
How to Order
My kitchen is based in Matunga, and I serve the surrounding areas of Mumbai. Since I manage everything myself without the support of delivery apps, please reach out directly at least a day before if you want to include a dessert with your lunch or order a specific treat for a special occasion. I am always happy to chat about what is cooking in my kitchen.
