Authentic Indian sweets made with pure ghee, slow-cooked for the perfect texture. From traditional Mohanthal to rich Kaju Katli, everything is made fresh to order.

My homemade Mohanthal, also known as Besan ki Barfi. This traditional Gujarati and Rajasthani sweet has a unique coarse (danedaar) texture that melts in your mouth, made with besan, pure ghee, and mawa.

A box of my homemade Kaju Katli, made without any milk powder. I use only high-quality whole cashews and sugar to create this fresh, soft, and authentic sweet that simply melts in your mouth.

Three boxes of Adadiya Pak, a traditional Gujarati winter sweet. It's made with urad flour, ghee, dry fruits, and special adadiya masala to give warmth to the body during cold weather.

A box of Gur Padi or Sukhdi, a classic Gujarati sweet. Made with whole wheat flour, pure ghee, and jaggery, it has a delightful crispy texture and is topped with sliced almonds.

A large order of Moong Daal Barfi, packed in small window boxes for gifting. The rich, divine taste is the result of slow-roasting moong dal in ghee for hours.

A closer look at the Adadiya Pak, topped generously with chopped pistachios and almonds. It's a very healthy and nutrient-rich sweet, ideal for kids and the elderly.

A full box of my jaggery-based Adadiya Pak. The rich brown color and nutty topping make it as appealing to the eyes as it is to the palate.

Two boxes of Gur Padi, a sweet that is crispy yet melts in your mouth. I can customize it by not adding almonds if clients prefer it for their kids.

A close-up shot of my Gur Padi, showing the flaky texture and the generous topping of almond slivers.

Another angle of the Gur Padi, highlighting the perfect squares and the wholesome ingredients. It's a favorite among all age groups.

About Traditional Barfi & Sweets

I make every single batch from scratch, which means you control exactly what goes in. If you prefer your barfi made with organic jaggery instead of sugar, or if you want to skip the silver vark on your Kaju Katli, just let me know when you place your order. My kitchen operates on 'fresh-to-order' rules, so you never get anything that has been sitting on a shelf.

There are no shortcuts in my kitchen. When I make a batch of Moong Dal Barfi, it involves hours of slow-roasting the lentils in pure ghee on a low flame until the kitchen fills with that specific, nutty aroma. That is the only way to get the right depth of flavour and the proper golden-brown colour.

Why my sweets are different

  • Ingredients: I use whole cashews for my Kaju Katli, never broken bits or milk powder.
  • Texture: My Mohanthal is purposefully made to be 'danedaar' (coarse) because that is how a traditional Gujarati and Rajasthani sweet should feel in the mouth.
  • Health-conscious choices: I work extensively with Jaggery (Gur) and whole wheat flour for items like Sukhdi, making them a healthier alternative to commercial sweets.

Customisation for your needs

Because I am a home-based cook, I can tweak recipes to fit your family's preferences.

  • Dietary: Need sugar-free options or want to avoid certain nuts due to allergies? Just tell me.
  • Gifting: Whether you need a small box for a personal indulgence or a bulk order of window boxes for a festival, I pack everything carefully to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

If you are looking for that 'ghar jaisa' (homely) taste that you grew up with, you are in the right place.
