Authentic Marwadi Mithai Made With Pure Ghee
Experience the comfort of traditional Marwadi sweets, slow-cooked in pure ghee using generations-old family recipes.
A full tray of our freshly rolled Gondh Laddoos, ready to be packed. Each laddoo is packed with edible gum, dry fruits, and pure ghee, making it a nutritious and warming winter sweet.
Our signature Besan Laddoos and Gondh Laddoos are a taste of true Marwadi tradition. We slow-roast the besan until it's perfectly fragrant, creating a melt-in-your-mouth texture.
Our homemade Gulab Jamuns are a festival favourite. We prepare them in small batches to ensure they are perfectly soft and absorb the sweet syrup completely.
We were so happy that Nandita Puri loved our Mohanthaal. It's a rich, fudgy sweet made by slow-cooking gram flour in ghee, a traditional recipe that is a favourite for many of our customers.
About Traditional Marwadi Sweets (Mithai)
When we prepare our Besan and Gondh Laddoos, we stick to the traditional mand-aach (low flame) method. It takes hours of patient, constant stirring to get that deep golden colour without scorching the flour. This slow-roasting is exactly why our laddoos have a rich, granular mouthfeel rather than turning into a sticky paste.
We believe that if you want the taste of home, you cannot take shortcuts. That is why our kitchen is built on three simple rules: pure ghee, no palm oil, and absolutely no preservatives.
When you order our Mohanthaal, you are getting dense, fudge-like squares made with Haryali Khoya and real saffron, not just flour and sugar. We cut these into traditional chakki squares, making them perfect for gifting or serving guests.
Our Gulab Jamuns are another favourite. We make them using a fresh Chenna base, never milk powder, and fry them in ghee for that distinct aroma. We pack them in spill-proof containers so the syrup stays right where it should.
Practical Details
- Shelf Life: Our Laddoos stay fresh for 15 to 20 days at room temperature. Because our Mohanthaal contains milk products, we recommend refrigerating it and consuming it within 7 to 10 days.
- Small Batches: We are not a factory. Everything is made to order in small batches under Dadisaa’s watchful eye. If you are planning a large festival order, reach out a few days early so we can plan the prep.
