Music is a conversation, and every stage—from intimate baithaks to grand festivals—offers a new way to listen. Here is a glimpse into the events I have been blessed to be part of.

An invitation for a soulful Baithak presented by Khayal Trust, where I accompanied two wonderful vocalists. These intimate concerts are very special.

The poster for the Taal Chakra Festival, where I performed a tribute to Ustad Zakir Hussain with the 'Family of Percussion'.

The announcement for the "One World Many Musics" concert at NCPA with the Dipesh Varma Collective, celebrating artistic plurality.

A video poster for "Smaran," a classical music concert in remembrance of Shri. Anand Katti, where I accompanied a sitar solo.

The poster for a Baithak by Acho India, where I had the honor of accompanying Roopak Naigaokar on Sarod.

Another video invitation for the "Smaran" concert, highlighting the vocal performance I also accompanied.

The announcement for the Maghi Ganesh Utsav opening at Shri Siddhi Vinayak Mandir with Nitin Shankar's Family of Percussions.

A dynamic video poster for the "Smaran" remembrance concert, inviting all music lovers to attend.

An invitation to a Sangeet Baithak at Shivaji Park, where I performed alongside a sitarist and a vocalist.

A poster announcing the sitar solo recital by Sarang Vechalekar at the "Smaran" concert, with me on tabla.

About Upcoming & Past Performances

I always carry my own professional-grade Dayacom and Bayan set, which I tune specifically to the requirements of the venue or the artist I am accompanying. If your event involves other musicians, I usually arrive 45 minutes early for an acoustic check to ensure the sound is clear and balanced before we begin.

My journey as a musician has taken me to many different stages, and each one demands a different approach. Whether I am performing at a quiet house baithak in Navi Mumbai or playing alongside a larger ensemble at the NCPA, my priority remains the same: to listen, respond, and support the music.

The Range of My Performances

  • Intimate Baithaks: These are my favorite settings. In a smaller, private space, the connection with the audience and fellow musicians is pure. I treat these sessions as a dialogue, focusing on the subtle nuances of the Punjab Gharana style.
  • Concerts and Festivals: From the Taal Chakra Festival to events at the NCPA, these stages require a different energy. Here, I often focus on the power and precision of the tabla, ensuring the rhythm holds firm amidst a larger soundscape.
  • Collaborations: Music is nothing without sharing. I have been fortunate to learn from and perform with many artists, from my guru Ustad Fazal Qureshi ji to colleagues like the Dipesh Varma Collective.

I believe that a good performance starts before the first note is played. It starts with the right equipment and the right preparation. When you book me for an event, you are not just getting a performer; you are getting someone who respects the space, the acoustics, and the energy of your gathering.
