About 1-on-1 Wellness & Butoh Workshops
In our sessions, we aren't chasing steps or choreography. Instead, we use Butoh-inspired imagery to peel back the layers of your daily routine. If you choose an in-studio session in Bengaluru, expect a private space where you can work with props like wooden logs or fabrics to ground your body. For virtual sessions, we focus on energy management and movement drills that you can comfortably practice in your own home.
People often ask me why I teach Butoh for wellness. It is simple. It is honest. It is art from the inside out. My 1-on-1 sessions are designed to reconnect you with your gut, your instincts, and those messy, unexpressed corners of the mind. Kabhi dimaag ka cup bhi bhar jaata hai (sometimes the mind overflows), and movement is the only way to pour it out.
This is not a fitness class. We work with time, abstraction, and your own rhythm. Whether we are meeting over Zoom for a 60-minute energy audit or you are coming to my Bengaluru studio for a 75-minute somatic deep dive, the goal remains the same: presence.
In the studio, we dive into theatricality using specific lighting and hands-on adjustments. We might use masks or fabric to see how your body reacts when given a specific constraint. Online, I guide you through tailored drills that help you find stability and clarity without needing a dance studio.
Who is this for? Anyone feeling stuck, disconnected, or just curious about how their body holds emotions. You do not need to be a dancer. You just need to be willing to move. Let’s see what comes out.
