Musings & Philosophy: My Approach to Emotional Healing
Healing isn't just about poses. Sometimes, it's about the thoughts that guide you back to yourself. These are the fragments of my journey and the philosophies that fuel my practice.
"She is a force of nature." I wrote this last year, and it became true. The journey to meet the woman you are becoming is the most important climb.
On the other side, you will meet all the versions of you that you left behind. Embrace them all with gratitude, for without them, you'd never have made it.
"You will all cry and sit together and reflect on what a climb it has been." The journey is hard, but it's worth it. Now, soften, relax, and enjoy the view.
The first sign of healing? Playfulness returns. Life feels lighter. This isn't a coincidence. It's your brain realizing it's finally safe.
A poem about undoing and homecoming. "It was never me in the first place. They call it enlightenment. It feels like homecoming."
A poem about blooming. "The bud does not want to become the flower... But bloom it must. Bloom I must."
I'm unsubscribing from the glorification of suffering. Choosing rest, joy, and bubble baths takes its own kind of strength in a world that praises hustle.
About this collection
These aren't just words; they are the anchors I used to pull myself out of my own cycles of self-doubt. My sessions are built on this same philosophy. We use somatic movement and breathwork to stop overthinking and start feeling, addressing the physical tension your body has held onto because of old trauma.
I believe your body is the loudest storyteller you have. When you feel stuck, anxious, or just plain heavy, it is often old, unresolved emotion taking up residence in your tissues. This is why I created my approach—a mix of yoga psychology and somatic release—to bridge the gap between what you think and what you actually feel.
The philosophy behind my work is simple: stop glorifying suffering. We are taught that to be strong, we must endure. I teach that being strong is actually about knowing when to rest, when to cry, and when to let go. Whether you are dealing with PCOD symptoms that feel like a physical manifestation of stress, or you are stuck in a repetitive loop of self-sabotage, our sessions are about naming the beast and then kindly showing it the door.
We work online, but the space we create is as real as sitting in front of me in the mountains. We get down to the brass tacks: identifying your attachment styles, mapping your emotional triggers, and using breathwork as a physiological reset button. If you are tired of the hustle and ready for a bit of messy, real-life healing, ab chalem—let’s start the actual work.
