For me, Tango is not just steps. It is a conversation with the self. These journals are my raw, improvisational experiments where I play with passion and connection.

A Sunday practice session. It had been a while, but the body remembers. An improvisation exploring the feeling and form of Tango.

An entry into my Tango journal. These are my movement experiments, exploring the love and discipline of this beautiful dance form.

A Milonga improvisation. I love to share the joy and passion of Tango, a dance that holds so much of my heart and connects me to the spirit of Buenos Aires.

A dance in memory of the great Harry Belafonte. His music has a magic that inspires movement, and this was my small tribute.

A quick indulgence with new dance shoes. Another entry in my Tango journal, a reminder to manifest, love, dream, share, live, and become.

Rosa's Story. An improvisation for International Women's Day, about a woman who felt defeated but rose like a phoenix. A story told through Tango.

A Friday Tango journal entry. Just a moment to move and feel the music. A reminder to just move, everyone!

A trippy Valentine's post. A Tango improvisation about feeling the love all around you, and most importantly, loving yourself.

A disjointed yet connected Tango improvisation. I loved the music and just had to move to it and share.

An experiment in Tango, where the video was shot independently of the music. It's fascinating to see the moments where movement and sound sync up by chance.

About Movement Journal: Tango Explorations

These entries are my private rituals, not choreographed routines. I use them to process everything from grief to joy, often incorporating Butoh-inspired stillness into the fiery vocabulary of Tango.
