Holistic Health Coaching and Traditional Yoga Practice
A look into my daily path of holistic health, where traditional asana meets mindful nutrition. We strip away the quick fixes and focus on the real work required for lasting well-being.
Here is a look at the final day of a 369 cleanse, a structured detox program I guide my clients through. This day involves specific juices like pure celery juice and a cucumber apple blend, consumed at set times to maximize healing. This process is designed to deeply cleanse the liver and reset your system by eliminating all salt, sugar, oil, and processed foods.
In this video, I demonstrate Baddha Konasana, or Cobbler's Pose, and explain its profound benefits as described in ancient yogic texts. Proper practice involves specific breathing (rechaka and puraka) and muscle engagement to aid in digestive health, relieving issues like constipation and piles. It is a powerful asana for improving hip flexibility and healing the root chakra, but must be practiced with awareness.
This is me after completing a 10 day special cleanse, a journey that requires discipline but offers incredible rewards in energy and mental clarity. My programs focus on eliminating inflammatory foods and embracing healing juices and fruits, like the celery and apple juice shown here. It is a practical demonstration that controlling our diet is key to controlling our health.
I teach a simple yet powerful exercise to activate your lymphatic system and promote natural detoxification. By coordinating arm movements with deep inhales and exhales, you can help your body clear impurities. This can be done standing to improve balance or seated for immediate relief, making it an accessible practice for everyone.
The Tulasi, or Holy Basil, is a sacred plant found in many Indian homes for good reason. I recommend infusing a few of these anti-inflammatory and anti-viral leaves in hot water for a simple, healing herbal tea. It is a perfect example of how simple, natural ingredients can support our daily health and reduce anxiety.
This photo captures the moment my life's path changed eight years ago. An inquiry into absolute health led me to unroll my first yoga mat and begin a daily practice of Asana and Pranayama. This journey taught me that true health is not a temporary fix but a lifestyle built on discipline, awareness, and consistent practice.
About Featured
True health is not found in a magic pill; it is built through the daily discipline of what you eat and how you move. My approach combines traditional Ashtanga with strict anti-inflammatory nutrition—no salt, no sugar, no oil—which is exactly how I and many of my clients have reset our digestive systems and reclaimed our energy levels.
The Philosophy of No Shortcuts
I believe that health is not a destination but a practice. You cannot separate what is on your plate from the work you do on your yoga mat. If your diet is full of processed, heavy, or tamasic foods, no amount of asana will fix it. My work is about helping you move away from the obsession with quick fixes and temporary relief, and toward a path of sustainable, long-term vitality.
Food as Medicine
We often focus on 'dieting' as restriction, but I approach it as a way to heal. I work with clients to audit their current habits, identifying the behavioral loops and dietary triggers—like histamine or inflammation-causing foods—that keep you feeling sluggish. Whether you are looking for a 10-day deep detox or a monthly mentorship, we strip away the processed stuff. My protocols are strict because they have to be. We cut the dairy, gluten, processed sugar, and caffeine to give your digestive system the reset it truly needs.
Asana and Discipline
Daily practice is the cornerstone of my teaching. While I provide guidance and modifications, the real growth happens when you show up on your mat consistently. My classes focus on:
- Ashtanga Foundations: Breath-led movement and alignment to build real strength.
- Somatic Detox: Exercises like lymphatic activation to assist the body's natural cleansing.
- Mindset Shifts: Controlling your desires and staying disciplined, which is where the real yoga happens.
If you are ready to take it slow, be patient, and do the work, let us walk this path together. All is coming.
