Guiding a young student through the mechanics of a back handspring. My hands-on approach ensures proper form and safety.
This is what progress looks like. A student practices his backflip with my support, building the muscle memory and confidence to do it alone.
Nailing a backflip requires trust and technique. I'm right there to spot and guide my student through the entire motion.
A student practices her handstand to forward roll, a fundamental gymnastic movement that builds control and body awareness.
Using the roller barrel to help a student feel the motion of a back handspring. This equipment is great for safely learning complex movements.
Taking our skills outdoors. A student practices his back handspring on the grass, showing how functional strength can be applied anywhere.
A student practices a front flip over a vault box. This drill helps build explosive power and spatial awareness.
Learning advanced parkour tricks like the cheat gainer. We break down complex flips into manageable steps.

Working on handstand variations and flips in the academy. There's always a new trick to learn.
About Flips & Acrobatics
Learning a flip is not just about throwing your body into the air; it is about understanding the mechanics. My process starts with foundational movements on high-density foam mats, using a roller barrel to help you feel the rotation path before you ever try a full back handspring or flip unsupported.
How We Approach Flips
Safety is the priority. Many people hesitate to try advanced moves because they fear falling. I use a combination of high-density crash mats and professional-grade landing pads to remove the risk.
The Progression Path
We do not just jump into backflips. We work through a structured progression:
- Mechanical Understanding: We use barrels and wedges to help you find the correct rotation and body positioning.
- Spotting: I provide physical, hands-on support. This allows you to attempt maneuvers like handsprings or flips knowing I am there to guide your movement and ensure you land correctly.
- Strength Integration: We pair skill work with core and shoulder stability exercises, so your body is physically prepared for the impact and control required.
Where We Train
You can join our group sessions at FlyFlipper Academy in Laxmi Nagar, or at our F3 GYM location in Yamuna Vihar. If you prefer to train in your own space, I offer home coaching sessions across Delhi, bringing the necessary portable equipment like resistance bands and mats directly to you. Whether you are five or fifty, the goal is the same: proper form, no fear, and consistent improvement.

I'm Dev, and I teach from the floor, right alongside you. My style is hands-on. If you need to adjust your leg placement for a better handspring, I will be there to guide you through it in real time. We focus on safe, steady progress, whether you are picking up your first cartwheel or working on an advanced backflip.
