About Flexibility & Mobility

Mobility work at the academy isn't about forcing your joints. I use specific tools like gymnastics barrels and incline mats to support your body weight, which allows us to safely open up the spine and shoulders. This way, you get the benefit of a deep stretch without the risk of strain, preparing you for everything from everyday movement to advanced skills like splits and backbends.

Why Mobility Matters

Many people think flexibility is just for gymnasts, but whether you are working a desk job or pushing hard in calisthenics, stiff joints are the primary cause of injury. My approach focuses on 'active mobility'—gaining control over your range of motion rather than just being flexible.

How We Train

We don't just hold static stretches. Our sessions are built around:

  • Active Stretching: Engaging muscles while moving through the range to build strength where you are flexible.
  • Safe Progressions: We use bars, bands, and foam props to safely guide your body. If you cannot do a full split yet, we work on the mechanics using blocks and assisted stretches until your body adapts.
  • Real-Time Correction: I am hands-on during sessions. If your posture is off, I am there to adjust you—or give that quick instruction like 'wahan se leg change karna hai'—to keep your form correct and safe.

Who Is This For?

Whether you are a beginner struggling to touch your toes or an athlete trying to unlock specific moves like front levers or bridges, the process is the same. We start where you are, track your progress, and build the foundation. Consistency is the only requirement. If you are ready to put in the work, I will handle the guidance.
