Master Flips, Tumbles, and Acrobatics Training in Delhi
Gymnastics at MMA Tigers is not about circus tricks or stunts. We focus on building the core strength, flexibility, and body control you need to master flips and tumbles safely.
The result of relentless training. This compilation shows my students executing impressive acrobatic moves like back handsprings and walkovers. The audio says it all: "Loha jitna tapta hai, utni hi taakat bharta hai" (The more iron is heated, the stronger it becomes).
A moment of pure balance and strength. This student executes a flawless headstand in our academy, demonstrating the control and focus that is central to my gymnastics training philosophy.
Learning to tumble starts with mastering the basics safely. Here, a young student in his karate uniform uses a stability ball to practice the mechanics of a forward roll, building confidence and proper technique.
Repetition is the mother of skill. The student continues to drill the forward roll with the stability ball, and with each attempt, his form gets better. This is how we build muscle memory.
Training doesn't stop at the academy. This student practices her headstand at home, showing the dedication required to master advanced inversion skills. Her stable form demonstrates excellent core strength and balance.
Two young students in their martial arts uniforms practice the initial phase of a headstand. This foundational acrobatic skill is key for developing spatial awareness and upper body strength.
A student holds a tucked headstand position, an important progression for building the strength and stability needed for a full headstand and other inversions. This pose isolates the core and shoulder muscles.
This clip shows the variety of skills we teach, from a student performing a back walkover to others practicing grappling and takedowns. It highlights how gymnastics improves overall athleticism for mixed martial arts.
About Taking Flight: Flips, Tumbles & Acrobatics
We train on 25mm EVA foam mats, not Olympic sprung floors. This helps you build real ground control and spatial awareness without relying on bounce. Whether you are working on your first cartwheel or refining back handsprings, my focus is on manual spotting and building technique that holds up on any surface.
Building the Foundation
Gymnastics is not just about the final flip. It is the base for every sport I coach. At my Tilak Nagar academy, we break down movements to ensure your foundation is solid. We start with conditioning—push-ups, planks, and grip strength—to make sure your body is ready for the impact of tumbling.
How We Train
My approach is hands-on. If you are learning a back handspring or an inversion, I am there to provide the manual spotting you need to stay safe. We use:
- Stability Balls: To develop balance and core engagement.
- Vertical Manila Ropes: To build grip strength that translates to climbing and pulling power.
- Assisted Stretching: Using PNF techniques to get you closer to those full splits and backbends.
For Kids and Adults
I do not treat kids and adults the same way, but the expectation of discipline remains identical. My group batches (3 sessions weekly) are segregated by age to ensure the intensity matches the student's physical development. If you are unable to visit the academy, I also offer at-home sessions across Delhi where I adapt training to your space using bodyweight drills and floor-based conditioning.
The Result
Training mein koi compromise nahi (there is no compromise in training). You will sweat, you will be pushed to fix your form, and you will get stronger. When you nail that landing, you will know the work was worth it.
