About Striking Drills: Punches & Kicks
When you step onto our mats, don't expect to just stand there. We drill until your movements become instinctual, from basic boxing combinations to explosive Muay Thai knees and kicks. You will be tired, your arms will burn, but that is exactly when the real training happens. We don't care about looking pretty; we focus on precision and the grit to push through the last round on the heavy bag.
At Delhi Combat, striking is more than just throwing punches. It is about understanding range, footwork, and the physics of power. Our classes at our Rohini and Model Town academies are designed to take you from 'newbie' to 'fighter'.
What You Will Learn
- Boxing Foundations: We start with the sweet science. You will drill footwork, jab-cross combos, and head movement until you can move like a boxer.
- Muay Thai Essentials: We add the 'art of eight limbs' to your arsenal. Expect drills on knees, elbows, and those powerful roundhouse kicks on shields and heavy bags.
- Combination Flow: Most people throw single strikes. We teach you to link punches and kicks together so your offense flows naturally.
The Delhi Combat Approach
We train on standard 25mm-30mm EVA mats, using heavy hanging bags and teardrop bags to ensure you build actual impact power. Whether you are coming in for weight loss, self-defense, or just to sharpen your skills, our 5-6 weekly group classes ensure you get consistent supervision from our coaches.
