About The Ground Game: Grappling & BJJ
We do not just roll on the mats, we drill specific transitions like the half-guard pass until it becomes muscle memory. In our grappling sessions, you stop relying on brute strength and start using leverage to control opponents, which is the only way to survive when the fight goes to the ground.
Leave Your Ego at the Door
When you step onto our mats, it does not matter how much you bench press. On the ground, size and strength are useless if your technique is flawed. We focus on BJJ and grappling fundamentals, training you to use leverage and pressure to neutralize larger, stronger opponents. Whether it is a side control escape or a sweep from the guard, we break down every move until you can execute it under pressure.
How We Train
We train in both gi and no-gi settings. Our sessions include:
- Technique Drills: Slow, methodical practice to perfect your body positioning. We use dummies to drill movements relentlessly before applying them to a live, resisting partner.
- Live Sparring: Controlled, full-gear sessions where you put the techniques to the test against teammates who are trying to solve the puzzle you present.
- Functional Conditioning: Ground fighting is exhausting. We mix in specific drills, like piggyback carries and mat circuits, to build the explosive stamina required for wrestling and takedowns.
The Reality of the Mat
This is not a clean, air-conditioned studio. It is a non-AC facility designed for work. You will sweat, you will get pinned, and you will learn. Our classes are open to everyone, from complete beginners to those looking to sharpen their MMA game. If you are ready to learn how to control a fight on the ground, join the squad. We are here to push you, but you have to show up.
Delhi Combat
