This is a general fitness session combined with boxing drills. The student is learning to throw a proper cross while maintaining his stance, a fundamental skill for both self-defense and competitive fighting.

A student practices throwing a powerful right hand during a pad work drill. I am using a belly pad and focus mitts to absorb the impact and provide a realistic target for this striking practice.

About Striking Drills: Pad & Bag Work

This is not cardio boxing—it is combat preparation. When we hit the pads, we focus on raw timing, distance management, and heavy impact, not just moving your hands. You will learn how to slip, counter, and throw combinations that actually land in a fight. Every round is designed to push your reaction time until your striking becomes muscle memory.
